Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diarmuid Curry (ranked 11 p4p, 1 weight class) and Orpheus Boagrius (ranked 22 p4p, 2 weight class). Curry comes to the cage accompanied by Epic Celtic Music. Boagrius has chosen Akkadian Empire as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Boagrius misses with a left hand
and Boagrius takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Curry throws an off balance right hand
and Boagrius counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Curry turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Boagrius throws a body punch but Curry moves out of range.

We've been informed that Boagrius has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Boagrius tries to land a front kick but Curry steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Curry throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Boagrius counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boagrius misses with a looping right.
Curry blocks a low kick nicely.
Curry has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Fist of Fury Training Center in the buildup to the fight.
Boagrius throws the kick towards the body but Curry avoids it.
Boagrius stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Curry throws a head kick but Boagrius moves out of range.
Boagrius appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Curry gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Boagrius throws out a loose jab but Curry uses good head movement to avoid it.

Boagrius clinches with his opponent.
Boagrius lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Boagrius tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Curry's elbow.

Curry is breathing heavily.
Boagrius misses with a short punch on the inside.
Boagrius drops Curry onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Curry is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Curry blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Curry seems to have got his legs back now.
Boagrius lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Boagrius pushes Curry back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A left hand lands to the body for Boagrius.
Boagrius lands a right hand.
Boagrius can't find room to land a body shot as Curry controls the action.
Boagrius lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Curry to his knees! Boagrius keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
