PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Twisty Kneereaper (ranked 2670 p4p, 318 weight class) and Tricky The Kid (ranked 22733 p4p, 614 weight class). The Kid comes into a darkened arena with his song building. All about the Benjamins kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tricky The Kid was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kneereaper thows a body kick. The Kid tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Kneereaper lands a head kick!

It looks like Tricky The Kid has been cut.
Kneereaper throws a front kick that sends The Kid stumbling back into the cage.
Kneereaper connects with a jab.

Kneereaper feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends The Kid sprawling to the canvas! The Kid rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kneereaper finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The Kid sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Kneereaper lands a big uppercut and The Kid crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but The Kid looks OK. Kneereaper waves The Kid back to his feet!

That has opened up Tricky The Kid's cut even more.
Kneereaper is stalking The Kid. The Kid circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Kneereaper, and it's lights out! The Kid really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

In defeat, Tricky The Kid stepped up to the mic, saying 'Hey, it is what it is. Back to the gym tomorrow!'.
