Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Romeo Harris (ranked 6549 p4p, 524 weight class) and Albert Smith (ranked 5651 p4p, 503 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith stuffs the takedown attempt from Harris. Harris gets slowly back to his feet.
Harris shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Smith counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Smith misses with a series of wild punches.
Harris shoots in and gets a takedown into Smith's guard.
Smith looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Harris might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Harris drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Smith manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Harris has Smith in his guard.

Harris jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Smith walks away with a smile on his face. Harris gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Harris leaves Smith with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Horrible takedown attempt by Smith or perhaps it was just good defense by Harris, which made it look bad.
Smith shoots in looking for a takedown but Harris manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Smith's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Smith stalks Harris and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Harris's face. Harris staggers backwards, shaken.

Harris tries to counter with a takedown but Smith is quick to defend against it.
Harris shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smith defends it nicely.
Smith fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Harris avoids it really well and circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Harris doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Smith counters with a straight right hand.

Harris appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Harris bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Harris stands up.
Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Harris sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat.

Harris fires out a quick counter leg kick but Smith just manages to avoid it.

Albert Smith comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Smith has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
