Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Anton Shibaev!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mister Tea!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tea slips under a jab from Shibaev.
Tea fails with an attempt to clinch.

Tea closes the distance and pushes Shibaev back into the cage.
Tea lands a damaging elbow.


It looks like Anton Shibaev has been cut.
Tea stalling the fight.
Tea is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Shibaev is defending well for now.
Tea lands an elbow that stopped Shibaev in his tracks for a moment.
Shibaev drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tea pulls his leg out and moves away.
Shibaev avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shibaev half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Shibaev throws a jab when Tea was well out of range.
Shibaev throws a hook to the side of Tea's head but Tea sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mister Tea seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slow jab from Shibaev misses its intended target.
Tea closes the distance looking to clinch

and Shibaev counters with a takedown into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Tea's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Shibaev sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Tea is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Tea is looking to reverse the position.
Tea keeps trying to improve his position.
Tea parries the strikes from Shibaev easily there. Shibaev is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Tea to escape.
Tea managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Shibaev.
Shibaev working away.
Tea tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Shibaev wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
You can see the frustration on Tea's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Shibaev in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Tea is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Anton Shibaev!
