The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nice takedown defense from Mannix. No joy for Smith on that attempt.
Mannix sizes up Smith with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Mannix has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Temp Spar Gym in the buildup to the fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mannix. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mannix listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Smith is rocked!
Mannix sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Smith's defenses. It connects perfectly with Smith's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

A very excited looking Tyler Mannix rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
