Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thing Thing (ranked 2709 p4p, 275 weight class) and Marcus Louis (ranked 2969 p4p, 295 weight class). Thing comes to the cage accompanied by Thing. Thing Thing has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marcus Louis!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Louis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Thing to the ground. Louis is now in Thing's guard.
Thing keeping moving, preventing Louis from controlling successfully.
Thing working for a triangle but Louis defends it easily.
Louis trying to control the position from guard on top but Thing is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Thing is controlling Louis's posture.
Louis trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thing wants to control the position but Louis says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Thing holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Thing avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Louis.

Louis thows a huge punch but Thing dodges it nicely.
Louis has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Buoy Training. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Thing is not content to let Louis control the position.

Louis is keen to just control but Thing is a slippery customer.
Louis thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Thing is concentrating on defense, preventing Louis from advancing position.
Thing is not content to let Louis control the position.
Thing is defending against the submission attempts here by Louis.
Thing wants to control but Louis is keeping busy.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Louis misses with a takedown attempt - Thing sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Louis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thing but Thing pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Louis closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Thing did well to prevent Louis getting side control.
Thing is controlling Louis's trapped leg to prevent Louis from advancing to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thing tries to get to full guard but Louis has control of the leg.
Louis is pressing down on Thing's thigh, looking to free his foot. Thing is holding on for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Louis wants to pass the guard but Thing is keeping the position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Louis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Louis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thing swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Louis trying to control but Thing is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Louis takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Thing wants to clinch up but Louis keeps it at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Louis dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Thing manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Louis on his heels. He'll look to pass Louis's guard now, I'm sure.

Louis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Thing has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Thing is in close to Louis's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Thing postures up and lands a big shot to Louis's brow.

Thing is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Louis controls Thing momentarily but Thing frees himself.
Louis is still in real trouble! Can Thing finish him?

Louis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Thing arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Louis's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Thing Thing!
Thing Thing seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
