Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avila scores with a jab.
March fails in his attempt to clinch.
March misses with a double jab
and Avila counters with a body kick that stops March in his tracks momentarily.
Avila throws a head kick that half lands.

and Avila connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
March moves out of range of the strikes.
March tries to clinch up.
Avila throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

March blocks a head kick by Avila.
March tries to counter by closing the distance.
March doesn't manage to clinch there - Avila circles away.

Avila misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Avila lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Avila throws a hook to the side of March's head but March sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Avila looks to land a left hand but March moved out of range nicely.
Avila tries to bum rush March with a series of wild strikes but March uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
March avoids the head kick by Avila.
March tries to clinch up but Avila circles away and keeps his distance.
March feints a jab promting Avila to slip. March then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Avila slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

March clinches up against the ropes.

Avila breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Avila misses with an attempted mid kick.

Avila throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Avila takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Avila moves forwards but March connects with a nice, crisp jab.

March throws a sloppy head kick and Avila moves out of range easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - March looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Avila throws a big counter combination but March scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Avila gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Avila shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Avila throws a right and a left that March avoids nicely.

March moves in looking to clinch but Avila pushes him off.

and as Avila looks to reset his feet, March counters with a string of precision punches, right on the button, sending Avila crashing to the canvas! Avila is in big trouble here! The referee has started the count but Avila is so wobbly that the ref has given up the count at 6 - he's called the bout off! March is your winner!
