Udovich's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Godzilla Remix. Simon Udovich has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 47 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roman Sionis!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Bruno Lombardi and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sionis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sionis is trying to force a seperation but Udovich has the dominant position.
Sionis throws a knee to the head but misses.
Udovich lands with a light punch inside.

It looks like Roman Sionis has been cut.

Sionis pulls guard successfully.
Udovich sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Udovich prevents Sionis from getting back to his feet.
Udovich controls from within his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sionis controlling the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Udovich cracks Sionis with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Sionis tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Udovich pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Sionis is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Simon Udovich!

A relieved looking Simon Udovich thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
