Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maatia Supuaga (ranked 4287 p4p, 349 weight class) and Bobby Sands (ranked 3704 p4p, 320 weight class). Supuaga comes to the cage accompanied by Wanna Taki Taki. Sands is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Irish Soldier Song ... Free & Green. Bobby Sands acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sands gets a double leg takedown into Supuaga's guard.
Sands won't allow Supuaga to get back to his feet.
Sands throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Supuaga preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Sands scoring with punches to the head and body.
Sands distracts Supuaga with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Sands is working Supuaga over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Supuaga gets caught napping as Sands dives in and scores a takedown. Supuaga manages to retain guard.

Sands wants to control from the top but Supuaga keeps moving.

Supuaga has control of Sands's left arm, preventing Sands from doing any damage.
Sands looking to sit in guard and control but Supuaga gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Supuaga would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Sands has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Supuaga can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sands working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Supuaga doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Sands is tightening it up a little... Supuaga has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Supuaga reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Supuaga taps out! Nice BJJ there by Sands!

Bobby Sands really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Urban Fighter logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
