PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Justen Leoni (ranked 7579 p4p, 508 weight class) and Goki Shibukawa (ranked 6583 p4p, 493 weight class). Leoni comes to the ring accompanied by minomus - winds of fjords. Shibukawa is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ramallah - Days Of Revenge. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leoni misses with a double jab.
Shibukawa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Leoni.
Leoni moves out of range of the leg kick from Shibukawa.
A head kick by Shibukawa misses
and Leoni counters with a left to the body.
Shibukawa looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Shibukawa tried to score with a low kick but Leoni checks it.
Leoni lunges at Shibukawa with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Shibukawa's hand.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Shibukawa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Leoni has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Leoni and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Goki Shibukawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Leoni really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

As Shibukawa looks to move away, Leoni throws a big counter combo but Shibukawa just gets out of the way.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Justen Leoni.
Well Shibukawa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Goki Shibukawa rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
