The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leagatius tries to land a body kick
and Maximus counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Leagatius misses with a head kick.
Maximus follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Leagatius misses with a shot to the body
and Maximus counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Brutus Leagatius has been cut.

Maximus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Leagatius manages to avoid it.
Leagatius appears to be looking for a big counter.
Leagatius delivers a nice body kick.
Decent striking displayed by Leagatius there.
Leagatius takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Maximus keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Leagatius.
Leagatius misses with a straight left.
Maximus throws a poor cross that misses
and Leagatius counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Leagatius gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Maximus.
Maximus moves into range and connects with a jab.
Maximus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Leagatius moves away.
An attempted straight right counter from Leagatius misses the target.
Maximus moves out of range of the strikes.
Maximus swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Maximus! Leagatius is out on his feet! Maximus rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Leagatius is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Leagatius is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
