PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Jose Rizal (ranked 5963 p4p, 484 weight class) and Tim Davis (ranked 5866 p4p, 483 weight class). Rizal's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Noypi by Bamboo. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rizal throws a hook but Davis avoids it easily.
Davis stuns Rizal with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Rizal is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Davis.
Davis has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rizal misses with a left hand
and Davis counters with a nice uppercut.
Rizal throws a hook but Davis blocks it.
Davis looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Davis just misses with a punch to the body.
Rizal throwing a counter right hand but Davis manages to avoid it.
Davis throws the left hand but Rizal avoids the punch easily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Davis.
Rizal lunges at Davis with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Davis's hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rizal looks to score with a jab to the body but Davis is just out of range.
Davis looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Davis looks to land a left hand but Rizal moved out of range nicely.
Davis throws an overhand right that lands on Rizal's shoulder, as Rizal tries to avoid the shot.
Rizal misses with an uppercut.

Davis throws a good cross that connects.
Rizal slips a straight right by Davis.
Rizal misses with a wild body shot.
Davis throws a hook to the side of Rizal's head but Rizal sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Davis misses with a looping left.
Davis avoids the body shot from Rizal.
Davis with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rizal to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Tim Davis has been cut.
Rizal connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Rizal jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Davis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rizal.
Davis scores with a nice strike.
Nice defenses there by Davis.
Rizal definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Rizal throws a body punch but Davis moves out of range.
Davis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Davis throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Rizal counter with a right hand.
Some bone on bone action there as Rizal checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Davis takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Davis is rocked!
Rizal connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Davis out cold! This one is over in a flash!
