Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Uzo (ranked 308 p4p, 39 weight class) and Yacob Nilsen (ranked 330 p4p, 44 weight class). Uzo comes to the cage accompanied by The Game. Nilsen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lil Wayne - Right above it. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzo looks to score with a jab to the body but Nilsen is just out of range.
Jay Uzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Uzo misses with a body shot.
Nilsen blocks a jab.

Nilsen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Uzo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nilsen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Nilsen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Uzo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Nilsen is able to avoid easily.

Nilsen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Uzo momentarily.

Nilsen throws a hook but Uzo avoids it easily.

Uzo is looking to control Nilsen's arms but Nilsen gets an underhook and turns him. Now Uzo has his back to the cage.

Uzo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nilsen takes a swing at Uzo's ribcage but misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Uzo. Nilsen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Uzo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nilsen.
Nilsen lands a jab to the nose.

and Nilsen counters with a left to the body.
Nilsen connects with a looping right hand.
Nilsen throws a shot from downtown. Uzo moves away and avoids it.
A decent looking cross lands there for Nilsen.

Uzo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Uzo is rocked!

Nilsen bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Uzo's head backwards.
Oh Uzo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Uzo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Nilsen has cracked Uzo with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Nilsen lands another huge swinging hook and Uzo tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Uzo, before Nilsen can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Yacob Nilsen!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Yacob Nilsen waved his t-shirt featuring KOMBAT KLOTHING's logo in front of the cameras.
