The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moskade tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ball is able to avoid easily.
Ball seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Moskade fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Moskade shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ball as he jumps to the side.
Moskade has a takedown stuffed.
Ball throwing a counter right hand but Moskade manages to avoid it.
Quincy Ball has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mustafa Moskade.
Moskade tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ball defends well and Moskade ends up having to push Ball into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Ball darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ball is nestled in close to Moskade, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ball drops an elbow to the side of Moskade's head.

Ball content to control rather than advance.

Ball has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Moskade defend it? Ball steps over the head and cranks it - Moskade is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ball!
