Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mac Garcia (ranked 20747 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Keller (ranked 5074 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Keller will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Garcia looking to score a takedown here. Keller is defending well but Garcia drives through and ends up in Keller's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Garcia might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Garcia slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Keller can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Garcia controls the pace.

Keller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Garcia can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Garcia is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Keller.
Garcia keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Keller stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Keller scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Garcia could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Garcia shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Garcia was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Keller tries to bench press Garcia off him but Garcia keeps the position.

Garcia remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Keller is looking to reverse the position.
Keller is letting Garcia control him for a moment.

Garcia decides to stand back up. Garcia steps back and let's Keller get back to his feet.

Keller closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Garcia to the mat! Garcia manages to get full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Keller postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Keller is in close to Garcia's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Garcia throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Keller has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Garcia to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Keller is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Garcia pulls down on the head and he's put Keller to sleep! This one is all over!
