Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chinggis Khaan (ranked 1404 p4p, 186 weight class) and David Williams (ranked 2241 p4p, 273 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chinggis Khaan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, David Williams!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams staying out of range there.
Williams tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Khaan throws an overhand right that lands on Williams's shoulder, as Williams tries to avoid the shot.
Williams shoots in for a takedown but Khaan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Williams slips a jab and a cross from Khaan.
Khaan slaps away a takedown attempt from Williams, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Khaan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Williams.
Chinggis Khaan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Williams.
Williams shoots in looking for a takedown but Khaan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Williams's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Khaan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fighters circle momentarily. Khaan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Williams shoots in looking for a takedown but Khaan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Williams's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Khaan fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Williams is out of range.
Williams avoids the head kick by Khaan.

Williams drives through with a takedown into Khaan's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Williams is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Williams looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Williams wants to pass the guard but Khaan is defending well.

Williams stops Khaan from getting back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Khaan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Williams uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Khaan.
Khaan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Khaan tries a head kick but it misses.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Khaan slaps away a takedown attempt from Williams, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Williams closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Williams darts in looking for a takedown but Khaan gets double underhooks and turns Williams into the cage.
Williams misses with a takedown attempt - Khaan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Williams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Khaan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Williams somewhat.

Williams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Khaan's waist but Khaan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams off to one side.

Khaan feints and then cracks Williams's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Williams down.

Khaan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Williams looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Khaan is fending him off so far but Williams persists. Nope, Khaan circles away and we're back to standing.

Khaan feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Williams shoots in looking for a takedown. Khaan tries to sprawl out of it but Williams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Khaan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No joy there for Khaan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Khaan looks to land a combination. Williams sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Khaan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Williams.

Williams closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Khaan's guard.
Khaan is looking to stand back up but Williams counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Khaan.

Khaan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Williams can do to turn this around?

Williams is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Williams maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Khaan could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Williams has cracked it and Khaan is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Williams!
