The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takamura felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Takamura reaches up and pulls Burenkov towards him, trying to control the position. Burenkov manages to get a guillotine from the mount though! This could be big trouble for Takamura! Takamura tries to roll over - now Burenkov is on the bottom but the guillotine is really deep and Takamura has to tap out! Great work there by Burenkov!

A relieved looking Sergey Burenkov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
