The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shleu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kinney sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shleu somewhat.
Kinney seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Shleu has taken the fight to the clinch.
Shleu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kinney walks away with a smile on his face. Shleu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

It looks like Yong Kinney has been cut.
Kinney could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Shleu goes for a double leg but Kinney avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kinney continues to drive forward.

Shleu tries to keep at a distance but Kinney has taken the fight into the clinch.

Kinney has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Shleu clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Shleu is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Kinney's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kinney manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shleu manages to get himself to full guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bombart Shleu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Yong Kinney is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
