PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Esteban Casillas (ranked 4225 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilasinee Bunsrun (ranked 2563 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bunsrun has Casillas up against the cage in a clinch.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!

Bunsrun jumps guard.
Bunsrun is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Casillas is controlling him.

Bunsrun pushes Casillas off and scrambles back to his feet.

Bunsrun wants to stand but Casillas is controlling the position.
Casillas with a flurry of punches that miss.

Bunsrun pushes Casillas off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Casillas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bunsrun tries to avoid it but Casillas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bunsrun to the ground. Bunsrun escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Casillas throws an elbow that misses. Bunsrun uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Casillas's guard. Nice move by Bunsrun!

Casillas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bunsrun pinned against the cage. Bunsrun gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Casillas.
