Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Arlie Holt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andy Kurniawan!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, David Schapiro and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurniawan throws a combination that misses

and Holt counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Kurniawan!

Holt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Holt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Holt is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kurniawan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Holt.

Kurniawan is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Holt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kurniawan is just riding it out for now. Holt eventually gives up the hold.

A close second round but Andy Kurniawan will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kurniawan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Kurniawan manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Holt looks to throw an elbow but misses.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kurniawan has momentary wrist control but Holt slips an elbow through the middle.

Holt's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Holt is working Kurniawan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

I would just about give that final round to Andy Kurniawan.
