Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eskenov misses the shot to the body.
Eskenov tries to close the distance and clinch but Macron swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A little jabbing left from Macron on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Eskenov tries to clinch up but Macron circles away and keeps his distance.
Eskenov moves in looking to clinch but Macron pushes him off.
Eskenov closes the distance and clinches.
Macron has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Eskenov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Eskenov lands a hook to the side of the head.
Macron tries for a takedown but Eskenov manages to get underhooks.
Eskenov gets underhooks to prevent Macron's takedown attempt.
Christroff Eskenov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maurice Macron.
Macron wants to take the fight to the mat but Eskenov manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Macron drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Eskenov gets the underhooks and prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Macron has Eskenov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Eskenov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Macron is trying to drag Eskenov to the mat but Eskenov just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Eskenov lands with a right to the head.

Eskenov is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Eskenov looking to stall.
Macron tries to score a body lock takedown but Eskenov shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Eskenov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Eskenov wants to clinch
and Macron counters with a takedown into side control.
Eskenov tries to bench press Macron off him but Macron keeps the position.
Eskenov is working hard here to advance position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Macron lands a decent elbow from side control.
Macron works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Macron just content to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Eskenov is looking to reverse the position.
Macron controls the position from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Let's hope that Macron has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Eskenov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Macron on the ground.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Macron is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Eskenov is trying to escape and Macron transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Eskenov is forced to tap! Nice work there by Macron! Very nice indeed!
