The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawrence tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Shah counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lawrence thinking.
Shah moves out of range of the body kick.
Shah throws a head kick but Lawrence moves out of range.
Shah throws a combination. Lawrence tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Malachi Lawrence has been cut.
Shah throws a push kick but Lawrence slaps the foot to one side.
Shah connects with a jab.
Lawrence throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Lawrence bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sloppy strikes from Lawrence. Those never looked like landing.
Shah will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It looks like Aylin Shah has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lawrence gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Lawrence fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lawrence looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lawrence throws a right and a left that both miss.
Shah throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shah rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lawrence moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Shah scores with a head kick. Lawrence tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Lawrence throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Shah does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Shah lands with a nice body punch.
Lawrence is trying hard to land a takedown here. Shah sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Lawrence closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Shah to the mat! Shah manages to get full guard.
Lawrence lands a couple of elbows.

Lawrence throws an elbow that misses. Shah uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lawrence's guard. Nice move by Shah!

Lawrence is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Shah rolls with it to try and escape but Lawrence cranks on the arm and Shah is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
