Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Beltran (ranked 2500 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Vanatta (ranked 5009 p4p, 398 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Beltran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcin Vanatta!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Beltran.
Vanatta tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Beltran slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
I really don't envy Vanatta right now.
Beltran really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Vanatta.
Beltran has the hooks in. Vanatta is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Beltran is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Vanatta defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Beltran is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Beltran gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Beltran gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Beltran apologises and we restart here on the feet.

and Beltran counters with a crisp one two that drops Vanatta! Beltran thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Vanatta to his feet! Vanatta is in big trouble!

and Beltran counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Vanatta falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
