The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Collins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jan somewhat.
Collins slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Collins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jan fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Collins lands with an uppercut that bounces Jan off the cage and back into range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jan gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nice takedown defense from Collins. No joy for Jan on that attempt.
Michael Collins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bartlomiej Jan.

Michael Collins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jan glances at the clock... BAM! Collins nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Jan crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Jan is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
