Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Luke Phillips!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Phillips closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Phillips lands in his opponent's guard.
Fuentes controls Phillips momentarily but Phillips frees himself.
Fuentes keeping moving, preventing Phillips from controlling successfully.
Phillips looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fuentes wants to get back to his feet but Phillips is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Phillips works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Fuentes really is a fat lump.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Phillips is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Fuentes still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Fuentes has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Phillips is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fuentes slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Phillips has his hands on Fuentes's head, controlling the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Luke Phillips dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Phillips thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Fuentes if he has to take too many more of those.
Luke Phillips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fuentes looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

It looks like King Fuentes has been cut.

Phillips bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fuentes tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Phillips has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Fuentes has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Phillips is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Fuentes defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Luke Phillips has got the better of the ground game so far.
Fuentes trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Phillips working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Fuentes is doing well to defend. Phillips seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Fuentes is forced to tap and this one is over!
