Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Mordino (ranked 4248 p4p, 93 weight class) and Combato Bot One (ranked 4016 p4p, 147 weight class). Combato Bot One acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bot One thuds a left hand into Mordino's body.
Bot One tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Mordino counters with a three punch combo that has Bot One backing up. Bot One nods at Mordino to acknowledge the strikes.
Bot One bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mordino's head.
Bot One fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mordino is defended easily by Bot One.
Bot One misses with a wild combination.
Mordino tries to clinch up but Bot One circles away and keeps his distance.
Horrible takedown attempt by Mordino or perhaps it was just good defense by Bot One, which made it look bad.
Mordino tries for a takedown but Bot One sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bot One tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

The fighters circle momentarily. Bot One darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Mordino takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bot One smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Bot One drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mordino dives on top into guard.

We've been hearing that Mordino has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bot One has his hands clasped together around Mordino's back. He's all about the action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Mordino looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bot One is fending him off so far but Mordino persists. Nope, Bot One circles away and we're back to standing.
Bot One shoots in but no luck this time.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Bot One has eaten all the pies!
Bot One throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mordino's waist but Mordino gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bot One off to one side.
Mordino has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bot One finds it's way round the side to connect with Mordino's head.
Mordino uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bot One.
Bot One misses the shot to the body.
A chopping leg kick lands by Mordino.
Mordino tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bot One manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bot One feints the counter takedown.
Mordino throws a right hand that Bot One ducks under and follows up with a left that Bot One also avoids with ease.

Mordino tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bot One swivels and escapes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Victor Mordino will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bot One connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Mordino's hands.

Nice takedown defense from Bot One. No joy for Mordino on that attempt.

Bot One working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mordino doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mordino manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mordino is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bot One is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bot One has escaped and now he's on top!

Victor Mordino overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bot One has his foot on Mordino's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mordino works his way back into a safe position though.

Mordino content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Bot One has locked up a guillotine! Bot One's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Mordino is holding on here and Bot One must be using up a lot of energy. Mordino has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Bot One gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
