Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn lands with a straight right. Trufaunt didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Xayne Trufaunt has been cut.
Trufaunt bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Penn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Trufaunt appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Trufaunt moves forwards but Penn connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Penn jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Trufaunt went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
The crowd cheers as Penn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Trufaunt doesn't seem phased though.
Penn throws a head kick that misses.
Trufaunt swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A cross from Penn lands.
Trufaunt really is a fat lump.
Penn connects with a right hand. Trufaunt shakes it off.
Xayne Trufaunt's cut is getting worse.
Penn misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Penn throws a leg kick but Trufaunt sees it coming and moves out of range.
Trufaunt was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Penn misses with an uppercut. Trufaunt saw that one coming.
Penn swings widly with a right hand
and Trufaunt counters with a nice body shot.
Penn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Penn misses with a hook. Trufaunt ducked under it nicely.
Penn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Trufaunt.
Penn is looking to land body kicks.
It looked like Trufaunt was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Penn.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Trufaunt moves out of range of the body kick.
Trufaunt uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Penn.
Penn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Trufaunt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Trufaunt takes one to the chin there.
Penn bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
A head kick misses from Penn.
Luke Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Penn tries to score with a low kick but Trufaunt moves his leg out of the way.
A quick step to the side and Trufaunt tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Penn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
It looked like Trufaunt was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Penn.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Penn will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Trufaunt appears to be looking for a big counter.
Penn is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Penn scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Penn is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Penn cracks Trufaunt with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Trufaunt looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Penn finish him?
Trufaunt is rocked!
Xayne Trufaunt's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
An inside leg kick lands from Penn.
Penn lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Trufaunt falls backwards - clearly groggy! Penn dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luke Penn!
Luke Penn decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
