The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Zack Meachum has been cut.
Meachum blocks a jab.
McCallum clobbers Meachum with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Meachum tries to clinch there but McCallum circles away.
McCallum throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Meachum sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And Meachum responds with a good body kick, but McCallum manages to step out the way in time.
McCallum lands a right hook to the body.
The fighters circling - McCallum throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Meachum looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

and McCallum counters with a right hand to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCallum loads up on a big right hand but Meachum slips the punch.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Meachum! But no joy.
McCallum connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
McCallum swings for the body but Meachum moves out of range.
Meachum throws out a counter right but McCallum avoids it with no problem.

Meachum thinks about the counter body kick.
McCallum digs a good hook to Meachum's body.
McCallum throws a good cross that connects.
Meachum gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! McCallum gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
