Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Beltran (ranked 1944 p4p, 220 weight class) and Immamali Osman Durnagoz (ranked 4634 p4p, 458 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Immamali Osman Durnagoz!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beltran wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Beltran cracks a nice hook into Durnagoz's ribs.

Beltran clinches.
Durnagoz is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Beltran escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Beltran looks to land a combination. Durnagoz sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Immamali Osman Durnagoz has been cut.
Beltran lands a head kick!
Durnagoz misses with a low kick.
Durnagoz misses with an attempted mid kick.
We've been hearing reports that Beltran has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Beltran feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Durnagoz is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Beltran is controlling him.
Beltran stands up over Durnagoz, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Beltran working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Beltran stays in close to Durnagoz's body and controls the position.

Beltran decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Durnagoz, up you get!
Beltran keeps the fight on the outside.
Beltran wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Beltran lands a jab to the nose.
Durnagoz fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nice takedown defense from Beltran. No joy for Durnagoz on that attempt.
Durnagoz takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Beltran moves into range and clinches up with Durnagoz.

Beltran pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Beltran closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Durnagoz quickly recovers to half guard.
Durnagoz looks winded!
Beltran drops an elbow to the side of Durnagoz's head.

Beltran decides to stand and escape the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Beltran lands a big head kick that sends Durnagoz tumbling to the mat! Beltran takes a step backwards and waves Durnagoz back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Durnagoz is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Beltran is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Durnagoz hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
