Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chance Farley (ranked 6098 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Brockington (ranked 4940 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chance Farley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Brockington!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farley misses with a head kick.
Brockington changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
A nice combination there by Farley.

Brockington scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Farley is trying to stand up here but Brockington is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brockington decides to return to a standing position.

Farley clinches up against the cage.

Brockington wants the takedown. Farley is fighting it off but Brockington persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Farley's guard against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brockington lands a couple of digs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brockington stands and throws Farley's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Brockington tries to advance to mount but can't.
Farley is being controlled here.
Brockington's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Farley is not content to let Brockington control the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Brockington cracks Farley with a big right hand but Farley just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
You can see the frustration on Farley's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Brockington stands up and beckons Farley to his feet.

Farley has taken the fight to the clinch.

Brockington has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Farley clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Farley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Brockington lands punches and elbows.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brockington is hanging on to Farley's back as he tries to escape.
Brockington just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Farley is trying to get back to his feet but Brockington has full control of the position and if anything, Farley has just worked his way into a worse spot.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Brockington controlling the positon.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Brockington throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.

Brockington is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Farley has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Brockington is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Farley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Farley pushes Brockington up against the cage in a clinch.

Brockington tightens his grip and picks Farley up, before dumping him to the ground. Farley manages to land in guard.
Brockington wants to pass the guard but Farley is keeping the position.
Brockington trying to control the position from guard on top but Farley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Brockington wanted to stand there but Farley had control of the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brockington wants to control from the top but Farley keeps moving.
Brockington must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Farley has momentary wrist control but Brockington slips an elbow through the middle.
Brockington has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Brockington wants to stand but Farley has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Brockington looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Farley!

Brockington decides to stand back up.

Brockington rushes Farley and presses him up against the cage.
Brockington can't break the clinch.

Farley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Farley shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Farley was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Brockington tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brockington sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Farley is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Farley is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Farley is thwarting Brockington's attempts to control the position.
Brockington is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Farley passes into side control, despite Brockington's attempt to control the position.
Farley lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Brockington down.
Kevin Brockington has got the better of the ground game so far.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Farley scores with punches from side control.
Farley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Brockington trying his best to control but Farley has mounted him.
Farley lands with some strikes.
Farley can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brockington is looking to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Farley takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Chance Farley will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



Brockington closes the distance and clinches.

Brockington gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Farley throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Brockington stands and throws Farley's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Farley tries to bench press Brockington off him but Brockington keeps the position.

Farley is trying to escape the position but Brockington is controlling the position.
Brockington is looking to take a break and control but Farley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Brockington wants to control for a moment but Farley uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Brockington trying to control the position from guard on top but Farley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Brockington postures up and lands a big shot to Farley's brow.

Farley has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Brockington is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Brockington is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Farley can't fight it off and eventually Brockington manages to take the fight to the floor. Farley looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Farley tries to sprawl but Brockington drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Brockington has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Farley works to full guard.
Brockington is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Farley manages to escape and get back to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chance Farley.
I think Farley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
