Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scott Hill (ranked 1800 p4p, 227 weight class) and Ben Reed (ranked 2712 p4p, 312 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Reed!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill misses with a hook to the body
and Reed counters with a right hand to the body.
Reed tries to land a leg kick but Hill saw it coming and moves away.
Hill shoots in but no luck this time.
Reed throws out a counter right but Hill avoids it with no problem.
Reed connects with a right hand. Hill shakes it off.
Hill tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Reed swivels and escapes.
Reed thinks about the counter body kick.
Hill fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hill uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reed.
Hill works Reed's body with a nice hook.
Reed keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Reed throws a leg kick which misses Hill's front leg but catches the back leg as Hill tries to avoid it.
Reed misses with a head kick.
Hill just misses with a punch to the body.
Reed displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hill.
Reed lands a nice shot that snaps Hill's head back.
It looks like Scott Hill has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Reed uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hill.
And Reed responds with a good body kick, but Hill manages to step out the way in time.
Reed is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hill shoots in for a takedown but Reed shows good takedown defense.
Hill avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Hill fails with a takedown attempt.
Hill ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Reed moves away.
Hill shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hill takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Reed, as that shot connected.
Ben Reed is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hill shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Reed defends it nicely.
Reed has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Reed drops Hill with a naaaaasty hook - Hill is in real trouble here! Reed dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
