The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cunningham misses with a looping left.
Cunningham tests King's chin there with a solid looking shot.
King just misses with a punch to the body.
Cunningham throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
King looks like he wants to counter punch here.
King has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
King keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cunningham .
King feints the counter takedown.
Nice uppercut there from King.
Cunningham misses with a left hand
letting King counter with a right hand.
Cunningham throws a leg kick
letting King counter with a right hand.
Cunningham throws a lazy uppercut
and King counters with a stiff right hand.
King moves out of range of the strikes.
Cunningham throws a body shot but no joy.
King ducks under a wild hook from Cunningham .
King is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Cunningham with a body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd cheers as Cunningham lands an impressive looking overhand right. King doesn't seem phased though.
