Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Curly Hannigan (ranked 6105 p4p, 483 weight class) and Murder Junkie (ranked 6233 p4p, 489 weight class). Hannigan comes to the cage accompanied by Hed PE Renegade. Junkie has chosen Google Murder Junkies and enjoy the full male nudity. as his entrance music. Murder Junkie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Murder Junkie!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hannigan slips a jab and a cross from Junkie.
Junkie has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Hannigan tries to clinch but Junkie moves out of range.

Junkie moves into range and clinches up with Hannigan.
Hannigan's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Hannigan manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hannigan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Junkie manages to get himself to full guard.

Hannigan wants to take a breather but Junkie is having none of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Junkie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Junkie.

Junkie throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hannigan escapes and throws Junkie's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Junkie is looking for a sweep.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Curly Hannigan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Hannigan has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Junkie has Hannigan pressed against the cage, preventing Hannigan from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Junkie has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Hannigan has clasped his hands together around Junkie's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
