The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutherford keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rutherford pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rutherford tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rutherford throws a sloppy head kick and Slurper moves out of range easily.
Rutherford throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Slurper counters with a nice uppercut.
A low kick from Rutherford misses
letting Slurper counter with a right hand.
Rutherford is rocked!
We've been told by Rutherford's head coaches at Big Bear Fight Factory that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Thomas Rutherford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rutherford has his takedown stuffed
and Slurper counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Oh Rutherford is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rutherford throws a head kick that misses
and Slurper counters with a huge right that knocks Rutherford out cold! Slurper is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
