The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zuma tries a head kick but it misses.
Trowning throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zuma stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Trowning's coach down at Gentlemans Offence and Defense System was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Trowning's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Zuma has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Zuma, as that shot connected.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Zuma might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Zuma ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Trowning's jaw. Trowning's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Zuma does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

A very excited looking Monte Zuma rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
