The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perera steps to the side to avoid the strikes from MacFarlane.
MacFarlane bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Perera connects with a body shot that sends MacFarlane's belly button to the back.
MacFarlane tries a head kick but it misses.
Perera checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
A swing and a miss from Perera.
Perera uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by MacFarlane.
MacFarlane wants to clinch up but Perera keeps it at a distance.
MacFarlane has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Pablo's Boxing Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Perera throws out a loose jab but MacFarlane uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - MacFarlane looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Perera now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
A punch lands to the side of MacFarlane 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Rian MacFarlane has been cut.

MacFarlane connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
MacFarlane throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A telegraphed right hand from MacFarlane misses the target.
Perera fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
MacFarlane wants to clinch
enabling Perera to counter with a crisp jab.

BAM! Perera delivers a spinning backfist that drops MacFarlane like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Our winner, Kusal Perera, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Rian MacFarlane spoke after the fight, saying 'Sorry guys everything is still fuzzy... but I think he tapped out... so it is what it is... who am I again?'.
