The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Lawrence misses

so Jones counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Jones misses with a low kick.
Lawrence throwing a counter right hand but Jones manages to avoid it.
Lawrence pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lawrence throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lawrence misses with a head kick.

Jones drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lawrence is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Jones dives into side control.
