Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jospeh Salinas (ranked 5032 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marin Camus (ranked 4959 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Camus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Salinas gets caught napping as Camus dives in and scores a takedown. Salinas manages to retain guard.

Salinas has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Camus off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Camus throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Salinas was covering up waiting for the punch and Camus finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Salinas wants to sweep here but Camus controlling him for the moment.

Camus is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Salinas pulls his head out easily.

Salinas looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Camus with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close round but I would say that Jospeh Salinas will probably get the nod.

Salinas is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Camus is defending well.

Camus creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Salinas wants the takedown. Camus is fighting it off but Salinas persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Camus's guard against the cage.
