Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Woodcock (ranked 1841 p4p, 242 weight class) and Jako Day (ranked 2017 p4p, 262 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jako Day!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Day fails with a takedown attempt.
Day takes a swing at Woodcock's ribcage but misses.
As Day backs away, Woodcock returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Day swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Day throws a shot from downtown. Woodcock moves away and avoids it.
Woodcock is looking for a counter combo.
Day misses with a left hand
and Woodcock counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Day pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Woodcock back to the cage. Day follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Day misses with a right hand
and Woodcock counters with a one-two to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Woodcock throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Day to counter with a crisp jab.
Day blocks the body kick.
Day connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Woodcock keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Day.
It looked like Woodcock wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Woodcock throws a sloppy head kick and Day moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Woodcock uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Day.
Day misses with a jab, cross combination.
As Day looks to move away, Woodcock throws a big counter combo but Day just gets out of the way.
Woodcock on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Woodcock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Danga de danga de dang - Day scores with a four punch combination!
Woodcock connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Day's hands.
Jako Day seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Day takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Jako Day has been cut.
Day throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Woodcock lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Day circles away quickly and effectively.
Woodcock scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Day doesn't seem bothered though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Woodcock jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Woodcock lands a head kick!
Day looks to land a combination but Woodcock avoids it well.
Woodcock is looking to counter with a body kick.
Day misses with a double jab
and Woodcock counters with a monster head kick that knocks Day out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
