The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puskas fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Godin sprawls well initially but Puskas persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Puskas wants to stand up but Godin is controlling the position.
Godin wants to control but Puskas is keeping busy.
Godin tries to get to full guard but Puskas has control of the leg.
Godin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Godin tries to get out of the position.
Puskas is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Puskas moves nicely into side control.
Puskas tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
