Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caramon Majere (ranked 2075 p4p, 253 weight class) and Kenton James (ranked 3336 p4p, 377 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Majeres jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Majere tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
James scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Majere has taken the fight to the clinch.
Majere is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. James is defending well for now.
Majere lands an elbow that stopped James in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Kenton James has been cut.

James manages to break the clinch.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Majere just misses with a elbow thrown towards James's brow.
James dodges an elbow strike from Majere.

Majere swings wildly with an uppercut but James uses good head movement to avoid it.

James pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Majere moves in looking to clinch but James pushes him off.

and James counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Majere.
Caramon Majere seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch combination from James misses.
James lands a left and a right that send Majere crashing to the mat, dazed. James thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Majere is rocked!

Oh Majere is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Majere is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. James doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Majere crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Majere's bad books for that mishap!

Kenton James is the new light heavyweight champion!
A very excited looking Kenton James rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
