Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andre Clay (ranked 1368 p4p, 76 weight class) and Quân Lê (ranked 1047 p4p, 56 weight class). Clay comes to the ring accompanied by Believe. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andre Clay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Quân Lê!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lê takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Quân Lê has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Clay uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lê.
Lê scores with a decent looking hook.
Clay will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Clay looks to score with a jab to the body but Lê is just out of range.
Clay rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lê counters with a nice low kick that buckles Clay's knee momentarily.

Lê displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Clay throws out the jab.
Clay darts in looking for a takedown but Lê gets double underhooks and turns Clay into the ropes.

and Clay decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lê's guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Clay throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lê works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Clay loads up on a big right hand but Lê slips the punch.
Clay takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Lê uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Clay.

Clay shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Clay wants to pass the guard but Lê is keeping the position.

A close round but Quân Lê will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Lê throws a lazy right hand but Clay sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lê lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lê bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Clay takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Quân Lê seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clay on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lê. Lê obviously looking to wear him down.

Clay lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Lê throws the left hand but Clay avoids the punch easily.
Clay appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Lê lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Clay fails to land with a series of punches.
Lê tries to clinch there but Clay circles away.
It looked like Clay wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Clay wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Clay tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Lê manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Clay takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lê pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Clay tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Lê paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Clay ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lê moves away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lê.
A punch lands to the side of Lê 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lê lands with an uppercut that bounces Clay off the ropes and back into range.
Lê walks into a left hand.
Lê moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Clay closes the distance and clinches.
Lê misses with a hook to the ribs.
Clay has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lê is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Lê lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Clay.

Lê escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Clay ducks under a wild hook from Lê.

Clay doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Lê has closed the distance and engaged Clay in a clinch.
Lê lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Clay backwards.

Lê swings wildly with an uppercut but Clay uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lê tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Clay's elbow.

Clay lands with a left to the head.
Lê softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Clay misses with some punches.
Lê swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Lê struggles to land a body shot inside as Clay controls his hands.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lê throws a punch but it's blocked by Clay.
Clay takes a shot to the head.
Clay throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

And that's the end of the fight!
Quân Lê comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Lê winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
