Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Yoshi (ranked 5805 p4p, 203 weight class) and Diederik Duvenage (ranked 3200 p4p, 144 weight class). Duvenage has chosen Dynamite! as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Duvenage as he avoids it easily.
Duvenage tries to counter by closing the distance.
Duvenage looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Yoshi shoots and misses

and Duvenage counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Duvenage.
Yoshi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Duvenage smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leonardo Yoshi. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Yoshi pushes Duvenage up against the cage in a clinch.
Duvenage controlling the action here for a moment.

Duvenage gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Yoshi regains guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Duvenage is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Duvenage missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Yoshi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Duvenage would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Yoshi rushes Duvenage and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Duvenage is struggling to control the position.
Duvenage is pressed up against the cage. Yoshi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Duvenage down to the mat. Duvenage avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Duvenage tries to keep at a distance but Yoshi has taken the fight into the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Duvenage as the two fighters clinch.

Yoshi is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Duvenage is defending well for now.
Yoshi is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Duvenage to keep the fight standing.

Duvenage is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Yoshi drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Yoshi seems to have locked his on tight now - Duvenage screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Yoshi, as he picks up the win!

Diederik Duvenage was interviewed post fight and said 'Nobody can hurt me without my permission.'.
