Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blind Shaman (ranked 183 p4p, 25 weight class) and Ben Turner (ranked 184 p4p, 26 weight class). Shaman comes into the arena with Shaman's Dream blaring out of the sound system. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 19 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blind Shaman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 18 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ben Turner!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shaman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

and Shaman counters with a low kick, right behind Turner 's knee.

Turner uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Shaman.

Turner steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Turner shoots in looking for a takedown but Shaman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Turner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Shaman swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Turner is now in Shaman's guard. A big mistake from Shaman there, giving up the dominant position!

Turner goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Shaman moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Turner fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Shaman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Turner displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shaman.
Turner is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Shaman with a body shot.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blind Shaman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

As Turner backs away, Shaman returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

I would just about give that final round to Ben Turner.
