Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keijo Tapaus (ranked 2834 p4p, 314 weight class) and Olaf Frost (ranked 2677 p4p, 303 weight class). Olaf Frost told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tapaus throws a body punch but Frost moves out of range.

I was talking to Tapaus's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tapaus, as that shot connected.

Frost shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Frost shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tapaus sprawls well. Tapaus wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Frost gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Keijo Tapaus will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Tapaus really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Frost.

Tapaus is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Frost knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Frost for a finish.

Tapaus is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Tapaus gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Tapaus gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Tapaus apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Frost has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tapaus finds it's way round the side to connect with Frost's head.

Tapaus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Frost looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Tapaus throws a lazy right hand but Frost sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tapaus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Frost.

Keijo Tapaus showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tapaus, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
