Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Starker (ranked 1075 p4p, 53 weight class) and Ricki Suckerpunch (ranked 1508 p4p, 77 weight class). Starker kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Catrin O'Neill - Ar Lan Y Mor. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Starker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ricki Suckerpunch!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suckerpunch will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Starker seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
A left and a right from Suckerpunch both land. Nice combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - Starker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Paul Starker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Suckerpunch cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Starker has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Suckerpunch uses from the top position.
Suckerpunch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Starker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Suckerpunch looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Suckerpunch backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Starker's temple! It sends Starker violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Suckerpunch celebrates and the doctors try to help Starker!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Ricki Suckerpunch!
Ricki Suckerpunch was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
In defeat, Paul Starker stepped up to the mic, saying 'I`LL BE BACK@#$%!'.
