Gravano comes to the cage accompanied by long way to the top. Luna has chosen Noypi by Bamboo as his entrance music. Juan Luna is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Juan Luna!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luna slaps away a takedown attempt from Gravano, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Luna darts in and clinches Gravano up against the cage.
Luna lands a right hand.
Luna lands a body shot in the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Luna.
A short right from Luna on the inside.
A nice left hand lands by Luna.
A nice right hand lands inside from Luna.
Luna lands an uppercut.
Luna scores with a nice hook to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gravano is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Luna lands a body shot in the clinch.

Luna breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Gravano gets tackled into the cage by Luna. Luna maintains the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Luna is pressed up against the cage. Gravano has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Luna down to the mat. Luna avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Gravano. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Luna tests Gravano's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Luna drops Gravano with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Gravano! Luna dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Juan Luna!
An out of breath Juan Luna thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Billy Gravano was interviewed post fight and said 'sorry to my fans i'll train my ass off for the next one.'.
