The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Higgs throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bors tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Higgs is in Bors's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Higgs trying to control but Bors is working from the bottom.
Bors is adopting a defensive guard.

Higgs drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Higgs jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Higgs pushing down on Bors's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Higgs maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Bors could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Higgs has cracked it and Bors is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Higgs!
