Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Keiki Hale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jedd Jacob!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacob looks to score with a jab to the body but Hale is just out of range.
Jacob stuffs the takedown.
A solid leg kick lands there for Jacob.
Jacob takes a swing at Hale's ribcage but misses.
Jacob lands a nice looking body kick.
Hale misses with a left hand
and Jacob counters with a stiff right hand.


It looks like Keiki Hale has been cut.
Jacob feints and then cracks Hale's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hale down.
Jacob connects with an inside leg kick.
A combination from Hale does no damage.
A telegraphed right hand from Hale misses the target.
We've been informed that Jacob has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Jacob moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Donk. Jacob catches Hale right on the button with a cross.
Jacob misses with a head kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hale gets the takedown into side control.
Jacob prevents Hale from moving into mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hale thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Hale has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jacob is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hale yanks on the arm and Jacob is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hale.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Keiki Hale!
