Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Leonardo Saggioro!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saggioro shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Damian as he jumps to the side.
Horrible takedown attempt by Saggioro or perhaps it was just good defense by Damian, which made it look bad.
Saggioro has his takedown stuffed
letting Damian counter with a right hand.
Rustam Damian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leonardo Saggioro.
Saggioro gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Damian counters with a straight right hand.
Damian punishes Saggioro's body with a nice straight punch.
Saggioro tries for a takedown but Damian circles away easily
and Saggioro takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Leonardo Saggioro has been cut.
Damian lands a glancing blow to the side of Saggioro's head.
Saggioro takes a jab right on the kisser.

Damian clinches with his opponent.
Damian throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Saggioros head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Damian lands an elbow that stopped Saggioro in his tracks for a moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Saggioro wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Damian has him pressed against the cage.
Damian prevents the takedown attempt.
Damian lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Damian lands a body punch.
Damian stops a takedown attempt from Saggioro.
Saggioro looks winded!

Damian breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Damian cracks Saggioro with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Damian has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Saggioro to stand back up!

Saggioro is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crack! Damian connects with the perfect overhand right and Saggioro falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Damian!
